Third-generation diamond jewellery makers transforming unique precious stones and jewels into extraordinary works of art has been the Wurster family’s true passion for three generations now.

Alfred Wurster laid the foundations for the company in the late 1940s. Even in those days the trademarks of the one-man goldsmith workshop were precision and perfection in the craftsmanship of precious jewellery.

In 1969, riding high on the wave of Germany’s ‘economic miracle’, his son Alfred took over the small workshop.

With new creative concepts and the preservation of traditional handcraftsmanship, the qualified master goldsmith turned the small workshop into a successful company – the diamond jewellery manufactory Wurster Diamonds.

Distinctive, timeless design, excellent workmanship, responsible, dedicated staff and direct access to the most important diamond bourses in Antwerp, Tel Aviv and Mumbai – these are the secrets to the company’s success.

As a homage to the Koh-i-noor, one of the most famous diamonds in the world, the premium brand noor was founded in 2000. Within the shortest time, noor was able to successfully establish itself on the market. Thanks to its distinctive profile, the company is in a position to continue all of the manufacturer’s collections under the umbrella brand noor by Wurster Diamonds, as well as further expand and intensify its partnership-based cooperation with jewellers in Germany and abroad.

After five decades, new paths are once again being taken with the third generation.

The corporate culture of the past is being continued into the future with Alfred Wurster, manager and still the creative mastermind of the manufactory to this day, together with son-in-law André Stumpf, manager and responsible for sales since 2003, and daughter Simone Stumpf, who is responsible for marketing.
